Hammerstorm Northwest

Welcome to Hammerstorm NW, a viking-age reenactment group from Hillsboro, OR who share the common bond of our love with the Norse heritage, good camaraderie, and reenactments of Viking Age battles, armor and other socio-cultural practices.

The Household of Hammerstorm began in Wichita, Kansas in 1987 as an organization existing unofficially within and without the Society of Creative Anachronism, SCA. 

Hammerstorm is a mercenary/warrior house. As a mercenary house, Hammerstorm it is not composed solely of warriors. The house also has a share of individuals skilled in the arts that medieval persons would have. 

 Above all else, House Hammerstorm is a family oriented group; open to men and women, drug free and of any ethnic or religious background, with a desire to pursue an interest in the viking age.
